Autumn Wednesdays

28th September — 19th October

What is the Spirit saying to the church this autumn?

Join our Director, Christopher Landau, in conversation with a guest speaker, followed by open questions and a time of prayer. Feel free to bring your lunch!

28th September  — 19th October

We’ll be hearing from Dr John Maiden about his pioneering research into the history of the charismatic movement and its implications for mission today; from Bishop Jill Duff about her vision of the church as communities of lights being illuminated like beacons in the darkest places; from international teacher and writer Christy Wimber on how she sees renewal occurring in today’s church; and from Richard Fothergill of the Filling Station network on renewal in rural settings.

28th September - Dr John Maiden

Dr John Maiden is the Senior Lecturer in Religious Studies at Open University. He is a historian of global Christianity in the twentieth century.

5th October – Bishop Jill Duff

Rt Revd Dr Jill Duff is the Bishop of Lancaster with responsibility for mission and church planting across Lancashire. She is passionate about the significance of chaplaincy in bringing life & well-being in the everyday, and the highs & lows of university life.  She was the founding director of St Mellitus College North West.

12th October – Christy Wimber

Christy Wimber is from southern California, a mother of two, a speaker, pioneer, an author, and former Senior Pastor and television host. Christy has spoken to thousands of people all over the world. Her passion is to train and build healthy leadership in the church and the business world.

Please note that due to Christy being based in California, this conversation will be pre-recorded, and then followed by live discussion and prayer among attendees.
