  • How can I be involved in delivering ministry for ReSource or submit material for the Resources Hub?

It would be best to contact the Director by phone or email. ReSource is keen to deploy gifted people as Ministers, after a prayerful discernment and selection process. ReSource is also keen to make locally produced resources available to a wider audience through the Hub. Please don’t hesitate to make contact to discuss either of these possibilities.

  • How much does it cost to have a ReSource event in a local church or group of churches?

Wherever possible we ask churches to cover the travelling and other expenses of the staff member and/or Minister(s) leading the event, and we also ask you to consider making a donation towards our work. But the bottom line is that we never want money to be an obstacle to churches accessing our ministry.

  • Why have I never heard of you?

We hope that after reading this website you are beginning to feel that you know us! ReSource is well known in churches where it has ministered, but for many years it ran with a small staff team and never quite managed to deploy Ministers to extend its reach. The Director and Trustees are building a re-shaped organisation which we hope will mean that fewer and fewer churches have never heard of us!

  • Why do you need to exist? Why can't my Church and Diocese do what you do?

Through 2017/2018, ReSource went through an extensive period of review to check that God still has a role for us, and to define how we can best serve the church. We are not the only people who bring a focus on the person and work of the Holy Spirit, but it is a passion and specialism that we can offer alongside all the great work that retreat centres do and denominational training can offer.

  • What’s the difference between you and New Wine?

Well, the first thing to say is that we thank God for New Wine and their national conferences and leadership support, and we count each other as friends. ReSource’s focus is specifically on the person and work of the Holy Spirit and on smaller churches in the mainstream. We work across church traditions without a preference for any particular worship style or church culture. And we generally work on a come-to-you basis rather than through national events.

  • Is ReSource the same as Anglican Renewal Ministries?

Infact, Yes. The charity is formally ReSource for Anglican Renewal Ministries, hence the ARM in our web address and email addresses. However, ARM took on the Springboard emphasis on mission and evangelism when ReSource was founded in 2004, adding a missional dimension to the mainly renewal work of ARM.

  • Does ReSource work with churches of different traditions, evangelical, high church, liberal?

The answer is a genuine and enthusiastic Yes. Our ministry values are found in the About section of the website, and this is the best place to find out about the things that make us tick as a ministry. We come from a place of theological orthodoxy and fully embrace the contemporary work of the Holy Spirit. We always shape our approach to the culture and tradition of the churches we are working with.

  • ReSource works with little, local and ordinary churches, but will you really come to my small church?

The answer is Yes! We will need to be clear how we can best help, but our whole ministry is committed to seeing small and mid-size churches supported and served, so please approach us, however small your church might be.

  • How can I get permission to use your material in my own publication?

If there are extracts form our Newsletters, regular mailings or website that you would like to use in your own publication, all that we ask is that you acknowledge the source of the material with a reference or footnote mentioning ReSource, the author’s name (where that is shown) and the name of the source publication. If you would like to publish an entire article or webpage please check with the office before you publish.

  • How do I update the details you have for me?

Thank you. It is always helpful to have up to date contact details. You can inform us of changes using the form in the Contact section of the website. Or please be in touch with the ReSource Office by phone, post or email office@resource-arm.net.

  • How do I contact the Director or another member of staff?

You will find some email addresses for staff members, consultants or Ministers on the Our Team page in the About section of the website. Or please send an email to office@resource-arm.net headed FAO the person you wish to contact and it will be forwarded to the appropriate person. Or please phone the office on 01952 371300 for other contact details.

  • How can I make a donation to the work of ReSource?

Thank you for asking the question! You will find full details of the giving options on the Ways to Give page in the Get Involved section of the website. Or please send a cheque payable to ‘ReSource for Anglican Renewal Ministries’ to the ReSource Office, Meeting Point House, Telford, TF3 4HS
