Our Team
ReSource has a team comprising paid staff and consultants, along with a much larger team of ReSource Ministers, under the leadership of our Director, who is in turn accountable to the ReSource Trustees. It is a privilege to be called by God to be part of the ReSource movement and to each play the part God has asked of us. We are pleased to introduce the Team on this page.
Patron
ReSource is privileged to have the Rt Revd Mark Tanner, the Bishop of Chester, as its Patron. Bishop Mark preached at ReSource's inauguration in 2004 and has been a friend and supporter of ReSource since then. We are delighted that in August 2020 +Mark agreed to be our Patron, in succession to Archbishop Sentamu and we look forward to sharing this next stage in ReSource's journey with him.
Trustees
ReSource is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (charity number 1180394) with a Board of Trustees which has legal oversight of the charity and its ministry. The Chair of Trustees is the Rt Revd John Holbrook, Bishop of Brixworth in the Diocese of Peterborough, and the Trustees meet four times each year under his leadership.
Staff team
The ReSource staff team is led by the charity’s full time Director, the Revd Dr Christopher Landau. The small staff team, based in the ReSource office in Telford, is supplemented by both paid and volunteer consultants who bring particular skills to the organisational side of ReSource’s life and work.
ReSource Ministers
Our ministry is delivered nationally by a team of experienced ReSource Ministers, who bring with them a variety of specialisms, along with a passion to see churches coming alive in the Spirit and being active in mission. ReSource Ministers are appointed after a process of prayer and discernment, and with the support of their bishop or equivalent denominational leader. We are pleased to introduce them to you here.
Alongside Companions
The Alongside Scheme supports church leaders in the whole of their lives, both their ministry context and their personal life of prayer. A trained ReSource Companion undertakes to meet with a church leader on a mutually agreed pattern, online and/or in person, and also commits to pray for the church leader in between their meetings
