Dear ReSource friend,
I am very pleased to be able to send you the latest edition of the ReSource Newsletter, which I hope will be an interesting and inspiring read. A number of the guest articles reflect on the impact of the pandemic on the life of the church as we pass through a period of significant change and transition. I’m delighted that amongst these is an article by Richard Moy who has recently been appointed to be the next National Director of SOMA UK, and to whom we extend our congratulations. Felicity Lawson has also contributed an article about Saints Alive! which has recently been re-published in a revised format. Do take a look at the taster booklet enclosed with this mailing.
I am very conscious that this Newsletter will reach you at the end of a month of national lockdown, and that the pandemic is continuing to impact the lives and churches of our supporters across the UK. Please be assured of our prayers for you. And if you are a church leader in need of a conversation, or the support of our Alongside Scheme, do please know that we are here for you and keen to help in any way we can. Also please take a look on page 5 at our online ministry and resources, and maybe consider inviting ReSource to lead an online Sanctuary Day or series of Sessions, for your church or leadership team. It is something we love to do!
