Vacancies for Resources Manager and Media Manager

ReSource is looking to appoint a Resources Manager and a Media Manager to join its staff on a part time basis from the autumn of 2020. Both appointments are for an initial period of one year and can be done remotely. Please follow the links below for more details. If you would like an informal conversation with the Director, please contact Kevin Roberts on 07880 762868 or [email protected] The application deadline is midday on Friday 21 August.

ReSource is looking to appoint a Resources Manager to lead in the commissioning and editing of online courses and other materials for the Resources Hub of its website.

The coronavirus lockdown has highlighted the need to provide online materials that can be used by small groups and Zoom groups in little, local and ordinary churches. It also provides us with an opportunity to gather and commission courses and materials that we can make available in the longer term, to augment our ministry to churches across the UK, for renewal, discipleship and mission in the power of the Holy Spirit.

The heart of the Resources Manager role will be to gather and edit pre-existing courses in the main areas of ReSource's ministry, and to commission new work. Though the postholder may have the gifts to contribute to the writing on new materials, this is not a core requirement of the role.

A role description, person specification and other details, including salary can be found HERE. Please follow the links at the foot of this page to the ReSource application form and other supporting papers. The appointment is for 10 hours a week, working from home, flexitime.

ReSource is also looking to appoint a Media Manager to develop all aspects of the charity's online presence and visibility, and to oversee ReSource's website and social media outlets.

ReSource has built a first rate website and also begun to use social media posts on a more regular basis in order to both deliver and promote its ministry. However, the charity recognises that it needs a more focussed expertise in each of these areas of contemporary media if it is to further develop all aspects of its online and social media presence.

We are looking for someone who is at home in the social media world and who will be adept at discerning social media opportunities to enhance the charity's work and profile; who is sensitive to the communication preferences of different groups; and who is able to manage  the creative use of the charity's website.

A role description, person specification and other details, including salary can be found HERE. Please follow the links at the foot of this page to the ReSource application form and other supporting papers. The appointment is for 7 hours a week, working from home, flexitime.
