Get to know Clare Olliver
Clare worked in the Banking sector for 12 years in a variety of project management roles, gaining experience in both the retail and business sectors, particularly in the area of business change. In 2008 she retrained as a teaching assistant, where she enjoyed the challenge of helping small groups of children with educational needs to develop their abilities in English and Maths.
Clare and her husband Ian, a Baptist Minister, live in Telford with their two teenage children, Bethan and Stuart. Clare is active in leadership in her local church, using her skills to co-ordinate the church’s children’s work and their weekly Community Café. She also co-ordinates the volunteers for the Telford Christians Together Kaleidoscope Schools Project. She has a passion for bringing God’s word to primary school children.
Other interests include walking, swimming and playing the violin in her church worship band.
Clare has now been a Baptist for exactly the same 23 years that she was an Anglican!
Clare is delighted to be joining Lizzie in the office and looking forward to seeing renewal in little, local and ordinary churches in her role with ReSource.
